Our first stop in Kansas was just across the Colorado border in the town of Goodland. Goodland, Kansas is home to the World’s Largest Easel.
According to the sign at the park, the easel is 80 feet tall and the painting is a representation of “Tree Sunflowers” by Vincent VanGogh.
It was interesting, but I’m not really sure why it is there. I guess just for something to do? There was a lady from Canada there painting a painting of the painting. Besides us, she was the only one there.
As you can see with the kids and M under it, it is pretty big. Not sure it was really worth stopping for other than to stretch our legs, though. Hopefully our next stop would prove more interesting!
